Zen Garden Restoration Project. Working on a garden I created a while back on an amazing property in the Santa Rosa hills. I’m appreciative, this project’s timing was perfect, a gift in the middle of the CV sequester..Will add more photos as the project is completed.

Here's an update on the garden project for the developmentally disabled housing garden project in Marin. We didn't reach our goal to create the garden we originally
envisioned. Donations came to a complete halt after the fires in Sonoma. But with the the money raised $360.00 we're going to plant a lemon tree on the main lawn and bring in new plants and shrubs for border areas next to the cottages. We're waiting for a fence to be built to keep the deer that like to graze on small trees and shrubs from coming in. Just want to thank everyone who donated to this project.. I will post photos of the completed project on this FB page as soon as its completed.💕

I’m a designer of gardens and a fine artist. For the last few years I’ve been creating small contemplative spaces influenced by both Japanese and Western gardens using local plants and rocks. My objective is to create a peaceful natural setting that will inspire healing self reflection, contemplation,prayer, meditation and deep relaxation. Science verifies what most of us intuitively understand, that a well designed garden can reduce levels of stress and pain while boosting the immune system and increasing the ability to heal. The goal of the Sacred Garden Project is to offer gardens to local social service providers and low income families at no cost. I'm seeking donations from local business and individuals who are interested in helping me cover the cost of materials and labor so people who might not otherwise be able to benefit by having access to a sacred space.
