The market season is starting but unfortunately you will not find us at the University District Farmers Market this summer. Me and Istvan are working a lot during the week so we decided that we want to have "family time" on the weekends. Greetings from beautiful, beautiful Hungary! We will spend here a couple weeks visiting family and friends so you can not find us on the farmers market for a while.

Hello Everyone! Saturday is almost here, last chance to purchase Chimney Cakes before Christmas! In the last weeks we had more orders for 10 or more Chimney Cakes, so we think, if you have a bigger order than 5, please write us the day before the market about when will you come for picking up your Chimney Cakes, which flavors would you like to choose, and we will bake your cakes in advance. On this way you can avoid the line and the waiting time.

Dear Chimney Cake Lovers!

We are happy to announce, that we will participate on the Winter Solstice Night Market in Seattle on December 7-8th! 😁
The Winter Solstice Night Market debuts over 100 local pop-ups showcasing handmade, vintage to delicious street food with music and libations. It will be a fun event with possibilities for buying the Christmas presents! And of course, delicious Chimney cakes in sweet and savory flavors!😊

We will have exciting new seasonal flavors tomorrow at the U-District market:
- PLUM flavor Chimney Cake: we mix in the dough local plum jam (Ayako&family) and dried plum, and sprinkle the baked treat with cinnamon sugar
- PUMPKIN BUTTER flavor Chimney Cake: we mix in the dough pumpkin butter 🎃 and bestrew the golden glaze surface with Halloween sprinkle

Yesterday was a great day for Budapastry! Salmon days festival is our first very big event and it is so nice to see, that many people wanted to try out this Hungarian treat! 😍We will be there today too, from 10 am to 6 pm! Our tent is close to the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank.
