Mien Villa Market has two dates coming up August 10th and our last one of the summer is August 24th! We will have local produce growers, delicious food vendors, and kids activities! Special performances are also lined up for 8/10-Katilya, WA Iu Mien Dancers, and Samba Raph. You won’t want to miss it! Of course, we’ll have some fun raffle prizes you can enter, too! $1=1 ticket or $5=6 tickets! Come support our Iu Mien American Fundraisers by purchasing a limited edition tote $30, or handmade embroidered trinkets, two styles-$15 or $20. Proceeds go to funding arts & crafts activities and other programs that uplift and preserve Iu Mien culture. Our last FUNDrive collection is 8/10 and we appreciate donations of gently used clothing, household items, media, or books. Please bag soft textiles and put media and books in labeled boxes. It’s a great opportunity for summer cleaning & will help IMAA get closer to our fundraising goals. Volunteers are needed to help set up and take down. Kids will love the activity areas where they create arts and crafts, color, and play giant games like Connect Four, Big Lego blocks, Jenga, and safe darts! REMINDER-NO PARKING in the lot or at Wat Lao temple today, but street parking is available on S Bozeman, S Holden St, S Chicago St, S Kenyon St, and other streets. Please plan accordingly.
