One last little ticket left for our Block Printing class this Saturday afternoon. Class will be held in our workshop space in Pioneer Square. There's no World Cup game. There's no Mariners game either. We're safe, right? In any case, still probably best to take public transportation. The light rail will dump you off just one block from our workshop!

Bring some clothing or other textile items to print onto & we'll cover up any lil' stains they might have acquired with a fresh, colorful inky illustration.

Our teacher - Alessia Potovsky - of has SKILLS. We had a little block printing session for the folks who work in the shop when Alessia first started and we were all like WHOA.

We just got an amazing restock of stickers. Each one speaks to me in a big way. This one reminds me that I am often asking people, "What?" before I even realize that I DID hear what they said. Why do I do that? I'm not sure - but its definitely happening. If any medical professionals want to weigh in - holler. I can only afford to pay my health insurance premiums but I don't have any leftover to actually see a doctor.

In any case, Tender Ghost might speak to you as well. One of my favorite stickers of theirs is a bumper sticker that says, "I'm not like the other girls. I'm an actual worm." Brilliant. True. Horrifying.

This Thursday, we're learning to make our own hand brooms with Sarah Benson of

Due to a cancellation - we have TWO last minute tickets are now available. Maybe they will go to a lucky lucky pair of BFFs. Or someone hoping to impress with an unusual weeknight date. Or just maybe two complete strangers will get tickets separately & then meet for the first time at the broom class and then become excellent lifelong friends. Yes?

Class will take place in our Pioneer Square studio space starting at 6 p.m. You'll make TWO fantastic hand brooms in class -- one for you and one for your favorite person (or two for you - no judgement).

It's almost June & June is basically perfect. The weather is sick but it still throws a rainy day or two into the mix for a nice contrast.

The cruise ships are going and is BUZZING with activity. Upstairs in the Market it's elbow to elbow but down in our little corner of the world on Western Ave - it's pleasantly humming. You can stop and peruse while you stroll and not worry about 300 people behind you filing past each of the artists tables - but afraid to stop and hold up the whole works. It's not like that down here. On Western you'll find a whole street full of local artists and a delicious bakery. Some of our favorites: & . Be sure to visit them and then fuel up with some baked goods at . A
perfect afternoon during the perfect month.

But best of all - it's Pride. Genuinely the best feeling month and I credit it all to Pride. Full of color and joy -- and at least 40% more kindness in general.

We don't have much to do to prepare. We already carry flags and pins and patches and bunting and keychains and stickers for gay folks year round.

Every June we donate 5% of all our sales for the month to a local LGBTQIA+ organization. We'll announce our 2026 recipient on June 1st. WAIT WITH BATED BREATH UNTIL THEN (?) What the f**k does that mean now?

In June, I promise not to eat a gummy before I write our social media posts. Well.... listen. That's probably not true & I"m sorry for lying.
