Pop by for a little visit if you're out and about for First Thursday. I'm in studio # 102 in the Tashiro Kaplan building in Pioneer Square.

We open around 5 p.m. and close up shop around 9 p.m.

Just borrow a bunch of money to go to college to get trapped in a corporate hell-hole type job that you HAVE to keep because you bought a house and a car and have a spouse and probably children.

We would like to introduce you to the newest addition to our family: Oreo. She is a 12 week old kitten with a handlebar mustache of whiskers. Forgive me for not posting as much recently - but AS A NEW MOM - I just don't have it in me.

Check out the excellent student work from my Punch Needle Pet Portrait class! Brenna made a portrait of the majestic Bumi and he looks very regal and proud. I love how she used vareigated yarn to create kind of an aura around Bumi. Delightful!

If you want to create a portrait of your pet - (or someone else's - there's no law about that) - you have one more opportunity this summer. We have a handful of tickets left for class on 7/18 and then we're closing up pet portrait shop for the summer. I'll be posting fall dates soon -- so don't stress.

I think. I mean - I'm pretty sure. We'll see. You tell us!

In the recent past, we started getting messages from folks who were trying to place orders and getting weird errors. But not everyone. Some people could access it just fine. CONFOUNDING!

With the help of a lot of you sending us your specific error messages and some EXTREMELY NICE followers with technical expertise, we were able to finally - hopefully - get it back on track.

Can I explain what happened? I mean - not really. Essentially our site got marked as a big bad one that was trying to scam folks & with a few clicks and forms and several hours of chatting with Shopify customer service - we got it un-marked as awful and are back to just being our regular old, kinda inappropriate but in a fun way selves.

No matter how you feel about it, we WILL be celebrating! Hopefully soon! One of us has publicly stated that he'll start going to church if it happens on July 4th. We've got some champagne ready. How about you?

Actually, to be completely honest we have sparkling apple juice and it came with our house when we bought it about four years ago. I've been saving it for a special occasion but I think it is very much expired.

In short, we're not TOTALLY PREPARED - but please go ahead and leave this earth anyway, sir. We'll make due with what we have on hand.

Our current window display "Signs on Fascism" - made possible by Alexandra Nason - will stay up until the big event. Join us shortly after for a WINDOW WASHING PARTY before we install a delightful new window display.
