🧩 A Father's Perfect Day
✌️ 1000 Piece
🎁 Ceaco
🖌️ Thomas Kinkade Studios
I thought this puzzle was a challenging yet beautiful puzzle with over good quality! Here are the deets:
🎁 Packaging 3.5/5
The packaging is average. I’m a big fan of the square boxes because they stack nicely with many puzzle brands. The picture on the front is clear and I like that they identify the artist on the front (I often have to hunt their names down). I also love that it comes with a poster but I’ve come to expect that from a good puzzle. The box and bag holding the pieces could be a lot cuter and more environmentally friendly as many newer puzzle brands have picked up on. It’s just nothing new.
🖌️ Artwork 4/5
The art is so beautiful! I love the lakeside forest scene happening here! I only had to take a point off because paintings are not my favorite art for puzzles in general. Some of the elements just blend together too easily and it can be hard to tell what you’re looking at and if two piece actually go together. If paintings are your thing though, you’ll love this piece!
☕ Quality 4/5
The pieces to this were definitely quality. Even though I bought this puzzle used the pieces held up well and fit together nicely (when the picture wasn’t confusing me). It’s not quite perfect because the material did cause a bit of puzzle dust but not enough to really bother me. And the coating on this one caused a strong glare. Some may also dislike how small the pieces were but for me that’s generally a strength.
😵 Difficulty 4/5
This one was a challenge. Between being 1000 pieces and the painting, I was having a rough time with all those flowers! There were tiny red dots meant to be flowers just distributed throughout the entire puzzle. I had no idea where they all went and at one point I thought I would never get the grass area finished. Eventually, I did it though. I had to fit a lot of pieces by shape rather than relying on any line work. It was extremely satisfying once I got that last piece though!
