If you are in Seattle on September 1st - there is an amazing wine dinner hosted by Bin 41 at Via Tribunali in Georgetown (6009 12th Avenue South).

Hosted by Antonio Sanguineti, it will feature 5 courses and 7 wines! Should be a great time, amazing food, and some unique wines with stories that go with them!

To wrap up our Cava Week featuring Giro Ribot - here is an inventive twist on Sangria with cava to make it light and perfect for Cinco de Mayo or a sunny weekend day!

The recipe lends itself to modification, so feel free to toss in whatever citrus combination you enjoy. Because not all folks are fans of red wines â however delicious they may be â this recipe uses a crisp white wine (which is slightly easier to clean up after inevitable spills).

A fascinating, storied family, the Giró clan has deep roots in the Penedès region of España, and also in the Champagne region of France. They are cultured, distinguished people making cultured, distinguished wine, and have for at least five generations. In that span, they have acquired a mastery of Cava, with this Brut Reserva as a prime example.
