Dee Beaudette Consulting, LLC Your key to the “good life” is having great health. Great health begins by using pure water and the right products that promote health and well-being.

I am passionate about helping others reduce the chemicals in their homes just as I have. Chemicals are part of our lives. There are many reasons to be cautious about our exposure to some chemicals. From the foods we eat to how we maintain our yards and clean our homes, we can be exposed to chemicals in many ways. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), only a small fraction of

the more than 84,000 registered chemicals have gone through complete testing for human health concerns. Some chemicals have immediate toxic effects. Others are toxic to our bodies only after repeated, long-term exposure. Children are especially susceptible to the negative effects of chemicals, warns the EPA’s Office of Children’s Health Protection. Pound for pound, children breathe more air, drink more water, and eat more food, and when they play, they crawl and put things in their mouths. As a result, children have an increased chance of exposure to potential pollutants, and because children’s bodies are still developing, they may process these pollutants differently from adults. I began reducing my exposure to chemicals in my home more than 20 years ago when I installed a water filter at my kitchen sink. I did the research and chose Multipure because of its NSF rating and how it improves the "Health" qualities of water by reducing tasteless contaminants like lead, benzene, MTBE, chloramines, and PCBs. I then moved to installing a shower filter. The water emergency of Flint, Michigan has affected thousands of men, women, and children, exposing them to massive levels of lead contamination along with other potentially dangerous contaminants in the water. And although for these Michigan residents, this was unforeseen on the individual level, I know that one of the best ways to prepare for such disasters is to spread knowledge and awareness of what is in your local water and the power of point-of-use water filtration. Join me on my journey to reduce the chemicals in our home by taking advantage of using the best products available to replace chemicals that compromise our health. Begin by installing the best drinking water and shower filter on the market - Multiure. Then examine everyday products you and your family uses that can be replaced by not only safe but essential oils that can can promote health and a chemical free home. I love, love the Young Living Essential Oils Thieves® products which I use to replace many products that have chemicals such as laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, hand soap, toothpaste, mouth wash, deodorant, wipes, hand purifiers, cleaning solutions, and much, more. I also diffuse Young Living Essential Oils in my home to purify the air and give everthing a fresh smell without the chemicals. I am here to help you. To Your Health,

Learn about trihalomethanes.

These are present in all open ( to the air, atmosphere, environs; i.e lakes, rivers, etc) water sources that are delivered to municipalities. They are clear, CHRONIC carcinogens. They are particularly problematic in female reproductive cancers ( breast cancer, endometriosis for instance). You just can’t go wrong or half measures with a MULTIPURE. Don’t miss out!

DIY Face Wash and Makeup Remover

I read the ingredients on my makeup remover and decided I didn't want to use chemicals on my face so I created this recipe which has made my skin super soft. This is such a great recipe I also use it instead of lotion on my entire body!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup coconut oil
10 drops Lavender essential oil
small glass jar

Directions:

If your coconut oil is not liquid (it is solid below 74 degrees), warm the coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat until it liquifies.

Pour into a small glass jar and add lavender essential oil. Mix until well combined.

Store in a dark place like your medicine cabinet or under your sink in your bathroom.

To use:

Using a moist washcloth wrap the cloth around your index finger then dip the cloth into the oil. Don't get too much oil or you will flood your eye.

Gently wipe your eyes and face to remove all make up.

Perfect!

Bonus: coconut oil is also moisturizing so it won’t dry out the delicate skin around your eyes!

JUST A DROP
Essential Oils are so concentrated that just a drop or two is usually all you need. And the molecules of essential oils are so small they are able to pe*****te the skin and get into the blood stream. That’s why one drop of lavender or Peace & Calming on the bottoms of your feet can help you relax and settle down for a good night’s sleep.

Fatty Oils vs. Essential Oils

Fatty oils come from nuts, seeds, and vegetables (think olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil etc.). These are good for cooking, moisturizing your skin, and they are perfect for diluting essential oils. Many are very nutritious! But, they are not volatile, they are not aromatic, and, unlike essential oils, their long chain molecules are too large to pe*****te the skin, which is why they feel greasy

Could the lavender oil you see on the shelf at the health food store (labeled as “pure”) be cut with synthetic chemicals, diluted, or extracted from the plant using chemical solvents?

Do you realize that if I put ten drops of lavender in a bottle of sweet almond oil, most people would smell it and think it was a “pure” bottle of essential oils? They wouldn’t know the difference. That’s what often happens. People believe they’re getting a “great deal” on their $7.00 bottle of lavender; when, in fact, they just spent $7.00 for ten drops of an inferior essential oil infused in a fatty oil that will soon go rancid.

Young Living's Seed to Seal®process is their promise to you. This meticulous, five-step approach allows Young Living to deliver nature’s most potent and pure essential oils from our farms to your family.://bit.ly/21eW8K7
