We've stocked these works because they fly off the shelves faster than we can buy them. Why?

Fanon is one of the most influential anti-colonialist philosophers, in addition to his work as a psychiatrist and political radical. Frantz Fanon was an important figure within the Algerian National Liberation Front, or FLN, and influenced the trajectory of the coalition. He was also an early proponent of community psychology and critic of institutionalization as treatment for mental health disorders.

The latest from Wallingford:

"Yesteryear" by Caro Claire Burke. A successful trad wife influencer is catapulted back to the year 1855, and must confront the reality that she'd been projecting online without camera tricks, nannies, or modern amenities.

"A World Appears" by Michael Pollan. Consciousness; Even the most curmudgeonly academic and fringe researcher can agree that it feels like.. something. This book explores some of the most interesting attempts across disciplines to explain that ineffable experience.

"The Midnight Train" by Matt Haig. What if you had a second chance at a once-in-a-lifetime love? In this first new installment into the Midnight World, Haig's novel explores the most human corners of self-reflection, regret, and our choices at life's crossroads.

Only at the Magus Annex in Wallingford! Open Thursday - Monday, 11am - 7pm.
