Meet the team that actually shows up at your door — and the team in the showrooms. Our crews have installed thousands of lift chairs, hospital beds, and wheelchairs across Seattle, Renton, Bellevue, Kirkland, Tacoma, and the rest of King and Pierce County — in apartments, in farmhouses, up three flights of stairs (yes, really), in homes with five cats. A special shoutout to Mario, our Seattle store manager and rock star — if you've been into the 28th Ave showroom, you've probably been talked through a lift chair, scooter or walker by him, and you remember it. Patient, knowledgeable, never pushy. Wave next time you see the truck.

Buying equipment for a parent is a weird emotional minefield. You're trying to help; they don't want to feel helped. Here's how we make it easier: we'll talk to you on the phone first if you want, send photos and specs you can show them, and let them try things in the showroom without pressure. We'll meet them where they are. If they say no this visit, we don't chase it. Most folks come back.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads (and grandpas, and bonus dads, and the dads we miss this year). The ones who taught us how to drive, how to fix things, how to show up. If you're caring for a dad whose body isn't quite keeping up with his stories — we're here for that. And to the dads using our equipment: thanks for letting us be a small part of your life.

A hospital bed at home is way more flexible than people realize. Adjustable head, adjustable foot, height that goes up for transfers and down for safe entry/exit. Add a pressure-relief mattress and it's better than what most hospitals have. Our flagship is the Golden Passport Hi-Low (deep-dive coming) but we also rent and sell more budget-friendly options — so if it's a six-week recovery, no need to commit to a purchase. Same-day setup possible across Seattle, Renton, Bellevue, Kirkland, and most of King County.

The lift chair Medicare covers is one specific model, in one specific size. If you're taller than 5'10", shorter than 5'4", over 250 lbs, or you want any meaningful features (zero gravity, two motors, heat, massage, a color that isn't beige) — it's probably not going to work for you. We don't say that to bash Medicare; we say it because customers come in surprised, and we want you to know your options before you wait six weeks for a chair that doesn't fit. Cash pay, fitted to you, delivered fast.

Power wheelchairs are for full-time mobility — when a manual chair takes too much energy or just isn't realistic anymore. The ones we carry have intuitive joystick control, tight turning radius for indoor use, and battery range that actually matches the spec sheet. Some models weigh a mere 27lbs to make it them super easy to load and unload from the trunk of a car. The independence these little machines can bring into someone's life is profound. Demo any of them at either showroom.

Heard this last week from a customer's daughter: her dad had stopped getting up from his old recliner without help. He's an independent guy, and asking every time was wearing on him. They came in and got him fitted in a comfortable new lift chair. He now has his independence back again and can happily watch the Mariners with is feet elevated, recline to zero gravity to take a nap and then easily get himself back up to a standing position again. This is why we do it. If you're seeing the same thing with someone you love, come talk to us.

Father's Day is Sunday. If your dad's been struggling in his recliner to get up, or saying 'I'm fine' a little too often when offered help — there's a gift idea here. A lift chair isn't a 'you're getting old' present, it's an 'I want you comfortable and independent' present. We can deliver before Sunday for orders placed by June 18th. Not pushing — just letting you know it's an option, and a really good one.

Rollator vs standard walker, the short version. Standard walker: four legs, lift to move, super stable, best when real weight support is needed. Rollator: four wheels, brakes, usually a seat — easier on the arms and faster, best when you can support your own weight but need balance and a place to rest. We carry both, plus the hybrid 'rollator with a tray' if you do a lot of moving things around the house. Come try them all.
