Ok, we’ve got a brand. Now we need a Master Craftsman to help us bring our prototypes into production. We heard about Alan — a legendary maker in Brooklyn, NY — and spent months trying to track him down. Dave’s brother Eric found a way into the building where Alan’s studio was located and met the elusive, legend face-to-face. The rest is history.

It took a long time to find a partner to help us make our hardware. We found a contractor in Connecticut, CMC, who was able to help turn our models (and all its mechanical pieces) into production moulds. We decided to plate them in nickel and bright brass. Casting so many small pieces was a challenge but the result was really satisfying. @ Seattle, Washington
