We’re an Organic salon in Seattle’s Roosevelt / Greenlake neighborhood. We are very busy and turning folks away every day.
We can teach you all about our Organic Hair color and services and set you free to grow your clientele in our lovely environment.

This is a commission arrangement and there will be 3 months of orientation and support to get you going. Will start part time ( 20-25 ) hours a week then full time ( 35-40 )

What a year. These are atmospheric photos of life at EVOLVE since June, since we reopened. It’s time to get back in a rhythm even if it’s one of unpredictability. We can flow with that. Become an Evolver! We're looking for an experienced Hairstylist who is interested in non-toxic / organic products and services and who is responsible, talented and creative. This is an opportunity to increase your skills, education and income potential.

EVOLVE is an organic boutique salon, with 3 chairs and an abundant clientele. We are located in the Roosevelt / Greenlake District of Seattle.

Upon reopening, we will be holding the highest covid 19 standards of sanitation and
hygiene practices. We are all learning and embracing these new practices and require all stylists to abide by them.

We use high performing organic products and our clients love them. It's easy to make the switch from conventional, toxic color and products. Organic, Ammonia free and Greener beauty products are the fastest growing segment of the industry, and there are low to no noxious fumes or odors. We get clients searching for these cleaner products and services daily.

We invite you to apply if you are a stylist who has 2+ years experience working in a salon and who is exceptional in their desire to serve, style and work together. We will help you build your skills through mentoring from senior staff and training while you work in a fun, healthy, learning environment virtually free of toxins.

Compensation: Start hourly + retail commissions, then commission when ready.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Current Cosmetology License in Washington required
- Interested in hair styling, cutting, texture and coloring
- Effective communication skills -- good listener and service oriented
- Experience with online booking a plus.
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, enjoys being part of a team
- Advanced hair and organic / natural education a plus
- Working some weekends essential

DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITION (3 - 5 days a week):
- Hair Styling, texturing and cutting
- Standard to advanced coloring techniques
- Facial waxing (optional)
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments / familiar with online booking
- Continuing education and training
- Participate in quarterly meetings, promotional activities and events

This position is for immediate hire.
