~The PAY IT FORWARD Idea~
The GYPSIES LAIR is ALWAYS ready & willing to try to reach out & to HELP the wonderful people within our communities who may ever be in need, or have sadly experienced a disaster or mishap which sometimes requires help & assistance from others! NEVER fell like you can't reach out for help, when truly in need.... you are LOVED & CARED for by MANY of us! We gladly accept DONATIONS from our public, as it all goes to a very GOOD & MEANINGFUL cause! I have families and individuals who come to me in need at all times, & often unexpectedly... I try to keep an assortment of Donations on hand at all times just for this reason. Many of them with small children of all ages and genders, and almost all of them experiencing tough or challenging times in their lives... some of which in nature, were unexpected disasters, & many others that are just plain down on their luck... part of what I do is to try to "Pay it Forward".... give back to the families in our area & others, who are in need or are experiencing troubled times.... I've recently had 2 families who's homes have burned down over the holidays and have lost everything. I had another very young mother who was raising 5 children alone, all under the ages of 5, and living in a camper..... there are many others worth mentioning, but do not want to keep you all.... People know to come to me for these types of things, because when I opened my door almost 10 months ago, I made a deep & valuable promise to myself that I would reach out as often and as much as possible (even when I too experience hardships) because there is an undeniable feeling one gets inside, a "Heart reward" if you will, when we do this kind of kind act.... I have spent a large majority of the last 10 years experiencing difficulties, trials, and challenges, in which I would have never had made it through, if it were not for my Lord God above & Jesus, and also for those kind souls, such as yourselves.... souls of gentle & loving nature, reaching out to help me.... to help lift me up from the depths of my personal struggles, losses & challenges life seemed to have sent my way... Just when I felt as if I were all alone, with no one to care, or too weak to get back on my feet.... miracles always seemed to happen... the first step I found was just to believe, and the second, was to never lose hope or give up the faith.... I myself, am a single mother of 4 children, I know more than anyone how it feels to be in need, to do things alone, to struggle or often, just to put food on the table. As parents, we want the best for our children and as any parent can imagine, it hurts our hearts when we don't feel like what we are doing enough, or are sufficient enough for what we know there little hearts deserve... It's a beautiful & wonderful feeling... and a MOST rewarding experience, to be able to give back, and PAY it FORWARD to others around us. What we do for others will one day come back to us, ten times fold! We shall be rewarded for our kind acts, and good deeds.... If you or someone you know, is in need, or would ever like to donate, verses giving to Goodwill or another most worthy cause.. please let me know.... as I have many local families and individuals who are in need of help, or just a lending hand, & often.... I assure you, they will not only receive the items needed, but will be deeply grateful and thankful in the end..... The only thing I ever ask of the People that we all reach out to help, is that they too one day, "Pay It Forward"... and it doesn't necessarily mean in a monetary mannerism... it could be as simple as sending a "You're Important or You are worthy" note or card through the mail.... or as big as lending a hand from a disaster or clean up due to a fire....(in my opinion, these types of things are much more valuable than any amount of money spent, or something one could ever buy.... because this in fact, is PRICELESS) Every little act of kindness will eventually roll into one BIG ONE.... and what a rewarding experience it is, when our hearts experience the true and unforgettable meaning of helping another & brightening ones day!!! The world is blessed and fortunate to have people living among them, such as yourselves.... I Hope to meet you all one day real soon!!
