I am very grateful to customers who commission items that force me to stretch and exercise my design skills. Recently a zip front crop top and a bottle cozy.

Working on custom orders as quickly as I can, thank you for your patience. I will be at Costume College in LA next week teaching three classes including hat blocking. Can't wait to show them pictures of my latest cosplay commission. I find it practically perfect in every way.

Hot off the sewing machine: Red Winged Blackbird. The latest pair of wings in my ELF line that aims to eliminate fabric waste in my studio by using "Every Last Fragment." These will make their debut at the Whidbey Island Ren Faire in May.

I survived Emerald City Comicon, thanks to the great family and friends who backed me up in my booth. On to Norwescon! I haven't done two shows this close together in a long time, but when I saw who one of the guests was, I had to apply. So excited to meet one of my favorite living authors for the second time. Any guesses who that might be?

This cool piece is a custom order, and won't be at Norwescon, but lots of cool new things will be.

Only 3 days till I go set up for ECCC. I have had this hat on the block for months waiting for inspiration. Today it struck. I could have decorated it with feathers and veiling and it would have been lovely and elegant, but this is me we’re talking about.

Had a great show with GeekCraft Expo. Thanks to the organizers and attendees who almost cleaned me out. I am grateful. In a day when almost everyone pays by card, I got sloppy with a cash transaction and didn't realize I was overpaid until I was reconciling this morning. If you were one of my two cash customers, and you have less money than you think you should, let me know what you bought and how much you thought you were paying and I will refund the excess. Sorry I don't have a better way to find you.
