What style (looks wise) of amp do you like best?

Fender
Marshall
Or another style

Include pics if possible.

We have a couple of head and combo designs already. A few have Blackface Twin and Deluxe styling. A couple are based on the large JCM-800 style head shells and a few more are our design. I've been leaning towards a modified Twin look just because it's kinda cool having something so mild looking just scream. I just changed the tolex to a Carbon Fiber headshell and the front plate is a black phosphate punched (with the amp name) aluminum panel. It'll have a bronze tinted panel with hidden LED's under it so the logo pops. I'll post a couple of mock ups.

What's more important, something that looks amazing and sounds incredible too or something that's sounds amazing but looks very normal and average yet saves you money due to its very basic design?

Let us know. Save a few dollars or have an extremely unique look?

As everyone knows, our company Precision Instruments/ValleyKraft is developing some incredible new amplifiers. We're always looking to customers for inspiration and really want to know what they want.

Please let know us what your favorite amplifier is and why?

If you can, include a link of you (or your favorite player) playing the amp or a link of "that tone" you really love. If someone else posts something you really think kicks ass, like their post and we'll take a good listen to it.

Thanks and best regards!

Thank you for all the new likes! Stay tuned for updates on the new Precision Instruments amplifier line. We've got some new pedals in the works as well and we're partnering up with a couple of incredible people to complete our PI catalog.

Designing another amplifier and decided to honor a couple of my favorite builders, Nik from Ceriatome, Mark Cameron and Jose Arredondo. Channel one is the low gain Jose mod with Cameron style specs and channel 2 is our design, all out high gain with percussive bass and a slightly dipped low mid range for clarity and cut. Some people really want a clean channel but that's another amp we build. By having 2 gain channels and varying your volume k**b you get all kinds of sounds clean to dirty. We make (and I believe Dave Friedman does too) a simple buffered (switchable) volume drop pedal if you don't want to use your guitars volume or a volume pedal and just want a preset-able one button volume pedal. That'll give you 4 different sounds out of a 2 channel amplifier. This all came about because of 2 customers, Raj Phanse and Edan Baehmann. Both successfully use single channel amplifiers and their volume controls. Both use high gain amplifiers but could use different sounds based on their songs and would otherwise have to use 2 amps to get those 2 sounds. So this new amp is really for you guys but I think a lot of players will see the light when they hear it. I think I'll throw the buffered volume drop box in with the sale of the amps. Even if you don't use the volume drop you can bypass it and use the buffer. I'll start putting specs, mock ups and then prototype pics and videos over the next couple of months. We have the TrendKiller to finish up first.

New shirts for Precision Instruments. The colors will match better when they get screened. Used Young Frankenstein Igor holding the magic amp dust and one of our schematics for an amp based on Mark Cameron's Aldrich mod. We don't use 2 gain controls anymore and have changed quite a bit of the values so if you can read it, you can try to see what we did. Once the new amp is released, the schematics will be up on our site anyway. I see no reason to goop or hide anything from a customer that purchased one of our amps. If you buy an amp, register it and you'll get a private log-in to see your schematic.
