Have you seen these glossy green plants in many of Savannah's squares? Locals call them tractor seat plants because the leaves are round and ruffled just like an old tractor seat.

Their real botanical name is Farfugium, but I think the farm machinery nickname fits them better. Originally native to Japan and SE Asia, they love our humid southern shade and just completely take off down here without needing a ton of fuss. They flower too - they should start sprouting some yellow, daisy-like flower clusters in the next month or so!

We are so excited to welcome Mystic moments at the oddities market on Saturday night! We hope that you will join us and come and take a look at the fantastic arteries we're showing off!

Savannah is awesome and I am excited to be a vender at the Oddities Market at Savannah Rocks this coming Saturday! I stopped by the shop today and it is a truly amazing and magical space. The owner, Shannon, is kind and extremely knowledgeable. He gave me some Savannah tips too!
