Today we stocked a studio suite at and it was the absolute cutest rental 400 feet from the beach! The 1930’s renovated inn is the perfect option for solo travelers or for a romantic getaway with their (8) 1bedroom/1bathroom suites! Don’t underestimate our ability to efficiently stock the mini fridge that comes with these rentals! If there’s a will, there’s a way! 🤣🙌🏽

Hey friends! Kari here with Shop + Stock and we’re officially getting ready for the 2022 season! I’ve missed connecting with all of you during my long social media hiatus, but I’m so excited to be back and show y’all what S+S has been up to!
2021 was so busy for me personally, but it was all great things! First thing’s first, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in October and since she’s my first, 2021 was all things baby! I continued to stock rentals last year, but I’ll be honest, I was WAY too exhausted to post anything about it on social media! 😅💯
Now that things are balancing out, I AM BACK! 🙌🏽 I have so many collaborations in the making and I can’t wait to tell you about them! In the meantime, you’ll get a sneak peak of the nicest and coolest vacation rentals that we stock, shots of our beautifully stocked fridges, and I will give lots of tips for ideal grocery lists for things like, beach days, picnics at the park, and the farmer’s market!
I can’t wait to re-connect with everyone and cheers to an exciting spring/summer! ☀️

1. DO take cues from the hostess. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive an invitation, like this amazing design from , that sets the tone for the party and what your role will be as a guest! The invitation’s overall style should give you clues to the dress code and if it’s potluck style or a set menu. Once you get there, are their shoes off? Do they have coasters out, implying you to use them? Do they look like they need help? Consideration and good manners go a long way!

2. DO NOT invite someone unannounced nor ask the hostess if someone could come over, point blank. I suspect the hostess has been spending weeks prepping for their ideal dinner party and unnecessary monkey wrenches just adds unneeded stress to the welcoming family. Remember- it’s their ideal party, not yours.

3. DO NOT come to the party empty handed! No 👏🏽 No 👏🏽 No 👏🏽 Try to be thoughtful on what you will bring. Maybe you remembered the hostess’s favorite dessert, wine, or feel free to bring a recipe that is near and dear to you, as well! Everyone loves a great backstory, especially if it’s nostalgic like using grandma’s old recipe!! ✨If it’s a potluck, try to bring an equal weight of food and cocktails.✨ Please don’t bring Scotch that only you’ll drink and load up on all of their generous foods! 😂

Tips to being “Hostess with the most-ess”🏡🍷🍽
1. Cute invitations! Whether sending invites formally by mail or more trending ways like group text messages, set the tone for your evening with a visual for your guests that highlights what the night is all about. We have fun collaborations with the talented, and they offer digital downloads and all designs have customizable options! Oh, they’re local to Savannah, too! 😉
2. Prep basic house duties. Start the party with an empty dishwasher, trash taken out, and plenty of backup up toiletries! This is the perfect occasion to have the good toilet paper, napkins and paper towels out 💯
3. You can never go wrong with offering wine, so pick one with a fun back story or remember 3 tasting notes about the wine to share with your guests as you offer them a glass. This will impress your guests, for sure!
4. Be wise with your guest list and make sure that everyone will gel nicely. Remember your intended ambience for your party and make sure that there aren’t any outliers that will cause mischief.
