Road construction begins on Highway 113 between Baraboo and Merrimac, which means that access to the Goette Road trailhead for the Great Sauk State Trail will be inaccessible from 113 and Halweg Road to thru traffic.

You can still jump onto the trail from other locations:

🚴 County Road Z and Highway 78 Parking Lot
🚴 Water Street in Sauk City
