SHE SAID YES!!! 💍🌸
Last night was a first for us at Back to the Fuchsia! We had the honor of creating a beautiful proposal floral setup at Douglas Beach—and what an adventure it was!
Gregory was the mastermind and executor of the project, working with the future groom to bring his vision to life. From ordering the flowers to designing the gorgeous arrangements, he made it all happen. Then came the BIG task: getting those massive arrangements down to the beach!
Gregory and Jeanne had about one hour to transform the perfect spot into a romantic proposal setting. We created a heart shape with the arrangements, placed candles, and scattered rose petals to complete the scene. ❤️🌹
Of course, there was the little detail of 100+ stairs, a walk through the sand, and carrying HUGE floral arrangements the entire way. And if you've ever tried walking through sand while carrying something large and awkward…well, you know. 😂
But the part nobody sees? The cleanup!
After the proposal and photos were finished, we headed back to the beach—almost in the dark—to retrieve EVERYTHING and haul it back up those ominous stairs. Let's just say Gregory and Jeanne had to stop more than once to catch their breath. We definitely got our cardio workout in for the day! 💪😂
Who knew being a florist was so much more than “just playing with flowers all day”?! 🌸
But every stair, every grain of sand, and every sweaty moment was 100% worth it because…
SHE SAID YES!!! 💍❤️
