Water dripping down your walls is a major nightmare! 💧😰

Look closely at this recent job we took care of. Our customer had a ductless mini-split leaking water.

The mystery was solved once we pulled off the exterior access panel: the original installation completely missed a critical step and left the lineset inside the wall totally bare without insulation. When that ice-cold refrigerant line met our brutal, humid Mobile County air, it started sweating heavily, causing an active water leak.

Blake, opened up the track, properly insulated the lineset, and sealed everything up perfectly. Result? No more water leaking, and the home is bone-dry and ice-cold again. ❄️

With August's heavy humidity sneaking into our kitchens every time the door opens, your refrigerator is working overtime. If your rubber door gaskets are warped or dirty, your fridge is constantly losing cold air.

Try the "Dollar Bill Test" to check yours. To do this- close the fridge door on a dollar bill. If you can pull it out easily without any resistance, your seal is compromised! Keep those seals tight by wiping them down with warm, soapy water monthly to remove sticky residue, crumbs, and mold.

Customer called about the west side of their house not cooling. ❄🏠

When we arrived, the system was running, but the air flow was low. After diagnosing, the issue wasn't a broken compressor or a dead motor. It was simply a lack of care and proper attention to detail during the initial setup.

Check out the photos to see what was going on:
-The Airflow Gap: There was a massive gap in the ductwork. Instead of blowing into the house, a huge chunk of that cold air was escaping directly into the attic, causing very low airflow out of the vents.
-The Attic Sweat: The main supply duct wasn't hooked up correctly. When that ice-cold air mixed with the blistering attic air, it caused excessive sweating and created that nasty liquid leak you see in the pictures.

We got everything tightly sealed, properly connected, and insulated. Now, the west side of the house is just as cool and comfortable as the rest! ❄️
