Louis Vuitton Besace Rosebery in Damier Ebene canvas

Released in 2012, this bag was part of a line that included the Cabas Rosebery and Bergamo models before being discontinued around 2014.

This vintage-inspired crossbody bag is characterized by its signature brown Damier Ebene checkered canvas, smooth leather trim, and a prominent gold-tone brass twist lock on the front flap.

Material: Crafted from signature Damier Ebene coated canvas with dark mocha (Ebene) leather trim.

Closure: Features a prominent gold-tone bar squared turn lock on the front flap.Strap: Includes an adjustable leather shoulder strap, allowing it to be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody.

Since it is no longer in production, you can only find this bag on the secondary market. It is considered a rarer find because it was not a high-volume seller during its short production run.

Ive had this Atlantic Scallop shell for so long that I can't remember what beach I found it on.. probably Hampton Beach NH or Glouster MA or Clearwater FL.. either way, I sourced it myself and made it into a beautiful piece many years (possibly 20) later with antique Tibetan DZI agate beads, and carved red jade handknotted on cord with a silver-tone strong magnetic clasp. $70

Flexible Studio Hours

The Dark Gem Shoppe operates a little differently than a traditional retail store. I’m a one-person, artist-run studio and I work between two creative spaces, so my hours shift depending on where I’m creating that day.

That said — I love seeing people in person.

If you’re planning to stop by, just send a quick message or give me a call to let me know what day and general time frame works for you, and I’ll make sure I’m there. No formal appointment needed — just a heads-up so I can be ready for you.
