Having a problem with mold and mildew on your outdoor furniture? Routine cleaning with mild dish detergent and water should deter growth, but during the humid and rainy months, it can be a challenge to keep your furniture looking new. Try a solution of one part bleach to four parts water. Use a sponge/soft scrub brush to remove dirt and mold. Rinse with clear water and let dry. This should work on slings, straps, and fabric.

You can keep your outdoor fabric looking great with minimal maintenance. Brush or vacuum dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabric. This is especially important when the pine pollen starts. Wipe up any spills or stains as soon as they happen. For general or light cleaning, Sunbrella recommends using a cleaning solution of 1/4 cup mild soap such as Woolite or Dawn dishwashing liquid per gallon of water. Clean with a soft brush or sponge, rinse thoroughly, and let air dry.
