Our friend and tour guide Noddy Watts of Kiwis On Route 66 Tours made his 1st stop at Gasoline Alley Classics kicking off his Centennial Route 66 tour of the year. After getting his guests adrenaline all worked up racing go carts in Tulsa he brings them to see all the “Kool Stuff” at Gasoline Alley Classics! We surprised Noddy with a new Welcome Banner for his tours which everyone signs. Teresa & I appreciate you making us one of your many stops while getting your kicks on Route 66.

The timing was excellent! On May 1st, I met Ronald Steemer, tour guide for Crossroads Motortours of the Netherlands, while the group was on a break in Sapulpa, OK on Historic Route 66. Upon my invitation, they visited Gasoline Alley Classics and enjoyed our store and hospitality, resulting in a commitment to make us a regular stop on their annual Route 66 tours. We recently had the pleasure of hosting Sam Murray of Gilligans Tours- Route 66 of New Zealand on April 24th at Gasoline Alley Classics in Sapulpa, OK on Historic Route 66. We also celebrated Sam’s birthday with cake for everyone and one of his guests was the lucky winner of an original piece of Route 66 asphalt from the downtown street construction area. We appreciate the opportunity to be one of Sam’s stops on his tour and make every effort to make it special for everyone.

The Jones family would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us in celebrating the lighting of our new neon sign and the unveiling of our Gasoline Alley Classics facade signage. This signage replicates the original design of the building in 1917. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Oklahoma Route 66 Association for their support through the Neon Grant program and to the National Trust for Historic Preservation Legacy Grant that provided adaptive signage that preserves the building’s historical charm while accommodating modern-day needs. Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the exceptional work of Encinos Signs Tulsa in creating the stunning neon sign. This was a night we’ll always remember. Thank you!
