Step 1. get a pottery wheel
step 2. put sandpaper on the pottery wheel
step 3. start sanding
step 4. try not to over sand
step 5. do wherever else you need to make it look pretty. whether or not that is going through all the different grits until you get a nice clean polish or just high enough grit that you can put it into a vibratory polisher to finish polishing it for you.
And that is how you polish dice with a pottery wheel.

Cheshire Dice, this was a dirty pour that I made months ago and just recently finished.
I can’t remember who said it but one of my dice making friends said it reminded them of the Cheshire Cat.

My best failure so far these are just so cool! I also need a name for these kind of stuck between pyrite nebula or entropy pyrite or entropy nebula. I don’t know. I can’t quite figure out what I wanna call these, but yeah, let me know down below what color you would like to see these ink and maybe a name for them.

Making Ice Fire Dice for the one color challenge that Oar Dice put out for this month(july2026).
This set took me 3 attempts to get the colors and honey pour just right. I want to do this again with other colors so it’s not all just blue. But that’s going to have to wait…

August 2026 Dice Exchange will have an option theme that you can try doing. And that theme will be 🤩✨Stars💫☀️

This dice exchange will be done differently. It will be a secret Santa style, so the dice that you will be sending off will not be going to the same person you will be getting dice from. On top of that it is open for any USA dice maker. Sorry to all my international friends, we will have you join again next year.

So the story behind this set was I was live streaming with a couple other dice makers and I got a color from each of them and ended up being orange and teal didn’t think of it until I pulled them out of the mold, but I knew they had to be Perry the Platypus dice. They just needed brown ink on them. And now my voice is slightly sore from trying to do that voiceover…
I wonder what Dan Povenmire would think of these and my voice over?
