Perfect start to Summer Solstice weekend with Outstanding In The Field at Hearst Ranch Winery. 20 photos tell only a smidgen of this deliciousness. Fell in love again and again. People, place, taste, beauty, relaxation, California. Thank you Jim Denevan, the artist behind the scenes, creating so many, of which this was just one, I was lucky enough to attend. Congratulations Chef Rhoda for winning season 23 of Top Chef! When a chef takes one tiny ingredient, respects it, acknowledging the work it takes, immerses herself into the flavor profiles, shares her love with the details, the guests, it becomes so much more than what’s on the plate…it becomes part of her life story and the makers of each ingredient that goes into the dishes too. The masterpiece she created for our 2022 tribute to Los Olivos CA, our family business/food product line, over 12 dishes she made with our EVOO’s and Balsamics at Mattei’s Tavern for just one of hundreds of events she’s created…an inspired, priceless memory. Who wants to meet up with Mobile Global in Crete in May or September 2027? Our 2018 Global Gardens trip was a delicious success! I learned how to make EVOO in Crete from the owners of Biolea Astrikas Estate. Our 4 day culinary excursion ended there with a 12-course feast, Greek dancing and a lotta olive! We also visited our favorite Cretan wineries and a brewery too. Of course food is served at all tastings~Let’s do it again! Clubbies and their guests get 1st dibs. Max group size is 24. Let’s GO! 💙🇬🇷

Quick break to run to the farmers market~and eat! Part of creating “Mobile Global” is to have more quality time to write and post content, whether it be on SM, in our Clubbie-only newsletters or new website/coming in June. (Clubbies will have your own portal to get creative with on our new site too!)

I love formulating new products…like the savory Caribe hot sauce you see on this wild raw sashimi/ahi. (Sauce in development right now). Working on a Singapore Sling Sauce too! Ready for lots of things new. Aren’t we all? First 10 to reply “yes we are” will be on the test list for these 2 new products happening this summer.

28th harvest season coming up~reminiscing on our history of being Santa Barbara county’s first EVOO producers from Rancho La Cuna in Los Alamos, original global gardeners, Ani and Sunita~to our farm boy Zac, shepherd Cleo, bricks and mortar at Buttonwood Farm Winery, then to Los Olivos, the Caliterranean Cafe to the cutest Farm Stand in Los Olivos…what a fun snapshot of time!
