We have something new to toast in Santa Rosa!
After a little patience and a lot of paperwork, our license has officially been approved and local wine and cider have arrived at Made Local Marketplace Santa Rosa!
We've been offering a selection of North Bay bottles at our Novato store since shortly after opening, and we're so excited to now bring this part of Made Local to Montgomery Village, too.
Just like everything else you'll find on our shelves, we're approaching wine and cider with a Made Local point of view. This isn't about having a huge wine department—it's about introducing you to wonderful small and independent producers from our own backyard and giving you another way to discover the incredible things being grown and made throughout the North Bay.
Our growing lineup includes producers such as:
🍎 Tilted Shed Ciderworks — small-batch cider celebrating Sonoma County apples and helping preserve our region's orchard heritage
🍷 Hobo Wine Company — artisan wines made right here in Santa Rosa with an emphasis on character and a sense of place—and a wonderful value, too
🍇 Clif Family Winery — organically farmed Napa Valley wines from the family behind Clif Bar that pair wonderfully with the Clif Family nuts, chocolates, jams, and honey spreads we already carry
🌿 McEvoy Ranch — small-lot wines from their beautiful Petaluma ranch. We love offering these in Novato as our Marin-made wine alongside all of their other wonderful products
🍷 Emme Wines — fresh, bright, naturally made wines from winemaker and grape grower Rosalind Reynolds, whose approach is rooted in organic farming, sustainability, and community
🍷 Maison des Plaisances — natural wines made in Sonoma by winemaker and farmer Coral Wang
🥂 Iron Horse Vineyards — family-owned Green Valley winery known for its estate-grown sparkling wines, bringing a little Sonoma County celebration to our shelves
🍷 Sonoma Portworks — a Petaluma producer specializing in handcrafted port-style and dessert wines, perfect for sipping or pairing with something sweet
And we're just getting started.
We're also especially excited about what this means for gifting. You can now add a locally made bottle of wine or cider to one of our curated gift boxes or build your own combination from around the store. Pair a bottle with local cheese accompaniments, chocolate, crackers, nuts, olive oil, ceramics, linens—or whatever catches your eye—and you've got a truly North Bay gift.
Stop by Santa Rosa to explore what's on the shelves now, and keep checking back as we introduce more of our favorite local producers.
Cheers to another way to shop local, gift local, and sip local! 🥂
