Today's the day! "Boxwood and Roses" sampler is ready! I have KITS which include the needles and Valdani threads OR I have the Printed Linen and you can use your own colors.

I had a lot of fun stitching this and I think this would make a great "Gift to Yourself" to stitch and be cozy over the holidays. Just sayin. ;)

Presenting Little Bit of Luxe! The rich goldwork and pearl embroidery is worked on luxurious red silk velvet and covers a small domed casket that is laser cut and will come pre-assembled in the kit along with full colour instruction booklet. I am hoping to have the project up on the website over the next couple of days with kits being made to order as we do for Stumpwork Deer Floral ❤️✂️🪡🧵🥰😁❤️

Learn how to make a pincushion in the design stylings of May Morris with SFSNAD.
Happening online Saturday, Nov 19 this is a great class to learn basic embroidery techniques and create a finished project!

About this class:
This crewelwork pincushion motif was inspired by the May Morris-designed bed hangings on William Morris’s bed at Kelmscott Manor. It incorporates the Rose Wreath Panel, designed by William Morris and stitched by May. The pincushion was created using crewel wool on a linen ground and stitched in the authentic fashion of May Morris.

In this four-hour class, suitable for beginners, instruction will be given in how the stitches are worked and how they have evolved over time. You will learn Long and Short Stitch, Satin Stitch, Trellis Stitch and Stem Stitch to create this beautiful design.
