HI EVERYONE!
I cannot believe that it is here already! It is August 1st and time to think about FALL, SCHOOL and MUSIC!~ I always look forward to starting the session fresh and ready to go, especially after the long Summer break, I am always ready~Hope you are too.

TUITION PAYMENT:
I have attached the Registration form for you to fill out, sign and mail back to me. I also accept SQUARE CASH, which is fast, easy and safe. A great way to send and receive funds and many clients are using it. All you need is an email and a debit card and a smart phone. Ask me about it and Ill tell you how easy it is. Take additional 5% off if you send before Aug 15th.
AVAILABILITY:
Again, all slot are open! Sessions work on a first come, first serve basis. I cannot reserve your spot until I receive you tuition payment. ( It would be helpful if you did not ask me to reserve spots.)

Bethany: M, W, TH available 3:30-6:00 (Wednesday at 5:30-6:00 is spoken for)
NEW CANCELLATION and RESCHEDULING POLICY:
Please take care note on the from about the new policy. All teachers at SRS have a variety of different jobs~ It is extremely difficult to make up lessons for this reason. When you pick your time slot for the session, please choose a time that you know will work for you for each week. There are no make up lessons.
For sickness: SRS will honor the second sick lesson as one that can be made up at the teacher's convince.

I will be focusing most of my efforts growing my ANNADEL SONGBIRDS class on Tuesdays 3:30-4:15, ages 7-12. I am so grateful to be able to add Brenda and Alison to take private students after my schedule fills. Please read about them below.

ABOUT ALISON:
Alison has a degree in music from Sonoma State University. Her primary focus was voice, but she also studied jazz theory, jazz piano, songwriting, and music business. She currently performs with female Americana trio The Bootleg Honeys as well as The Green Mountain Singers, a Renaissance Trio associated with Sonoma Bach. She released an album of original songs in 2008 and is working on releasing her second album. Her father was the music teacher for the Piner-Olivet Elementary School District. She enjoys creating a balance of teaching and performing in her career. She is a mother to a wonderful 5 year old daughter, who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall.
ABOUT BRENDA:
Brenda has always had a passion for the performing arts. From the time she was five she loved performing in almost any capacity. She loved singing, dancing, playing piano, creating short plays and variety shows. She has a BA in music/piano performance with a minor in voice from Bemidji State University. After college, she traveled around the western U.S.; in various entertainment venues doing everything from choreography to accompanying.
Her first love is piano,” but there is something wonderful about having your vocal instrument with you wherever you go”. Brenda has been teaching piano in the Santa Rosa area for 10 years and began teaching voice when she took over a small church choir that had limited music experience.
Brenda brings her love of performance artistry to her teaching, helping to guide the subtle nuances out of each student as they progress. She is diverse in her teaching methods; tailoring lessons to accommodate each student’s learning style and interest in music genres, while setting a good foundation for technique and practice methods. She enjoys teaching children, beginning adults, and adults who are getting back to piano. She likes reinforcing lessons with practice CDs and rhythm sequences. She teaches in her home studio, which is conveniently located in Rincon Valley, within walking distance to the middle school and the high school.
Currently she is the music director at Kenwood Community Church. There she conducts a choir, and sings and plays piano and organ for Sunday services as well as for weddings and memorials. She has continued studying voice and piano and is a member of Wine Country Piano and the Twenty Fingers Club. In addition, Brenda is offering the following course at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts beginning in October.
