One of the biggest misconceptions about wedding flowers is that they can be copied exactly from a photo.

They can’t.

And honestly, they shouldn’t.

Flowers change with the season. Light, temperature, and soil all shape what they become, sometimes in subtle ways, sometimes in obvious ones.

I see it every morning in the field.

I wrote a new blog about why your wedding flowers won’t match Pinterest exactly, and why that is actually where the magic is.

From the first seed to the final petal, Fern & Kevin’s wedding was a dream I will never forget and seeing it in feels like pure magic. Stop everything! Have you ever heard the words *Great Gatsby meets Disco meets Woodland Fairy* in the same sentence?

When Nick slid into my inbox with that exact vision, I nearly spit out my coffee. That’s not a “theme,” that’s a fever dream — and I was instantly intrigued.

Nick’s charm is dangerous, because before I knew it, I was saying yes to sourcing blooms we don’t usually grow — protea, calla lilies, irises — and building a floral world that sparkled like a champagne tower under a disco ball in an enchanted forest.

July Blooms Fresh From the Field

July is bursting with blooms you won’t find at a typical florist—because they don’t ship well. These fresh-cut flowers are delicate, local, and long-lasting.

On the farm now: zinnias, ageratum, P*e Gee hydrangeas, scabiosa (Scoop + Fama), penstemon, white swan marigolds, and chocolate dara. Also blooming: Starfire marigolds, rat tail statice, summer berries yarrow, feverfew, and more.

No chemicals. Just beauty, grown with love.
