One of the most fun parts of travel snd work is treasure hunting for old textiles.
Though the treasures are getting fewer now,but still …

These vintage chintz printed pieces came through an antique dealer who sourced them from the royal palace in Hyderabad, where they were hung for many years, but now they have decided to redecorate.

The colors.
The patinas .
The strange little birds.
The tiny imperfections that make them feel alive.

You can always print new fabric.
You cannot print age, history, or the feeling that something has already lived a hundred lives before finding you.

Also: apparently my luggage now contains enough textiles to upholster a small kingdom.
