📊 MARKET UPDATE :: In a prior executive role at a salon professional brand, I was responsible for sourcing raw ingredients and that experience taught me just how deeply ingredients like cocoa are tied to global commodity markets.

Cocoa isn’t just an ingredient—it’s a globally traded commodity. Which means:
• Prices fluctuate
• Supply can tighten
• Availability isn’t always predictable

So if you’ve noticed rising prices or sourcing challenges, you’re seeing those market ripple effects in real time. Recent poor rainfall in key African cocoa-producing regions significantly impacted global cocoa butter supply, increasing pressure on alternative suppliers like Peru to help meet worldwide demand.

✨ The good news: cocoa futures are projected to stabilize, which may help ease supply pressures and improve market availability moving forward.

Well… we didn’t exactly plan to go quiet over here on Instagram!

Life had other ideas. We welcomed a new little member to our family, and let’s just say things got beautifully chaotic for a while.

Running a family business means sometimes the lines between life and work blur… and this season, life needed a little more of me.

But we’re still here. Still committed to bringing you the same simple, high-quality ingredients you love, and I’m so excited to get back to sharing more here again.
