The Carole LaRoche Gallery Carole Laroche has a quite internal spirit that is visually present in her work. Carole's paintings are distinctive with an appeal that touches our core.

She is influenced by African and Native American art, but there are hints of minimalism and pop art visible in her simple use of line and large fields of vibrant color. She often uses bright primary colors in her work, as in red zebras and red elephants. Meet Jane Turner, the newest member of the Carole LaRoche Gallery team.

Jane’s connection to art began at age ten and has shaped a lifelong creative path, from 21 years of teaching art to studies in Italy and Florence. Her first art teacher had studied and painted with Georgia O’Keeffe, an influence that helped deepen Jane’s appreciation for color, organic form, and expressive work.

Her philosophy is simple: “If you cannot feel, you cannot truly see.”

Now calling Santa Fe home, Jane brings that same thoughtful eye and love of art to the gallery.
