I’m the owner founder and chocolatier of a local boutique chocolate business called Charlotte Truffles. Our mission is to rekindle some of your fond memories through our truffles and savor them just a little longer. For me, the Romantic Mahro reminds me of the family dinners that we had in Indonesia, while listening to stories of my dad’s day in the office. For some, this mango reminds them of a v

acation in Thailand, where they learned to love Mango Sticky rice. And others are able to rekindle the time they spent with Grandma. These special and unique memories are what I hope you to rekindle with all our truffles and share these with others.

PERSONAL POST:

My dad was an incredible man, a man of very few words. But his quiet and consistent support of my business is something that I can always count on. He is always so ready to workshop any challenges I'm going through.

He's also a man of DIYer. There's nothing in the house he can't fix. He even completely renovated one of the bathrooms.

My entrepreneurial spirit came from him, as he was an entrepreneur with his tropical fish and coral business in the 90s.

INDEFINITE HIATUS

You read that right. Due to changing family priorities, I need to step away from running Charlotte Truffles as a full-time business for the foreseeable future. This has been a very difficult decision since I've built this business for the last 8 years. But, my focus has shifted to personal and family priorities.

Looking back on this season, I'm deeply touched by the incredible support and belief you've shown me. You've been part of this dream, and I'm so grateful. Here are some incredible collections for the Lunar New Year. With Imlek (Indonesian word for Lunar New Year) is approaching, I'm thinking of f ways how we can celebrate it more.

I feel that my family is more Indonesian than Chinese, so for Imlek we have a one day celebration. It is usually centered around food. I'm just thinking of ourbspread of noodles, fish, nestar, dumplings........🤤🤤

Fruits are essential foods for many cultures and have symbolic meanings that are used to celebrate holidays.

Lunar New Year represent wholeness, completeness and unity. Round and plump fruit are used in prayer offerings to represent this idea.

This is why it's important to be selective when putting together your fruit offering. Try to avoid wilted and overripe fruits.
