Latest addition to my rotation and a couple other pipe toys. 🙂
My first Ardor.. so far it’s smoking great. I’ve been breaking it in with Cornell & Diehl Folklore. I’m liking that blend a lot, surprisingly for me. Pipe is great.
I found a little cutting board for plug cutting I’ve been wanting. Oiled and waxed it. Easy to toss into cabinet.
Finally, I got an IM Corona Old Boy. 15% off at smokingpipes on ISPD. I have a couple Kiribi and love them but the curiosity has always been eating at me and it’ll make a good blog since I have a lot of different pipe lighter styles. This normally isn’t the styling I’d choose but went different and like it. I have to say, it feels a lot tighter and clean striking than the Kiribis. The fl**ge in the Kiribi everyone loves doesn’t really help as much as I thought. I really like this piece. But for the price… Kiribi is the way to go for your first nice pipe lighter. I like them both.
I have another lb of Folklore, Capstan and first Three Nuns tin showing today and 8oz of Stonehaven, some Margate and a vintage Rattray’s 4oz leaving today to me. I’ll be checking that tracking way too often.
