Sometimes we gotta change things on the fly.

The original scope for this project was to swap out some Kantech controllers with Verkada. After arriving on site we found out there was multiple controllers with nothing labeled and no way to install Verkada controllers in a central spot.

We recommend a full rewire for 7 doors the correct way. We had an estimate within 10 mins the customer approved and now we are wiring their access control the correct way.

Pulled in the final 20 runs for the ICU wiring upgrade.

The IDF was located in an X-ray room. It was like trying to break in to Fort Knox getting a pathway into there.

That’s a wrap.

All rooms in the ICU have been installed and Certified.

Now we turn it over to IT and GE so they can install the equipment necessary.

We still have some nurse station cabling to do but all patient area is complete 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻

Today we completed another chunk of the ICU rewire.

This cabling is being put in place for GE monitoring equipment. We have 5 patient rooms left to complete and then we will tackle the nurses stations which is a completely different path down to the basement. All in all this project is running fairly smooth.

Have you used the figure 8 at your pull points?

I’m sure most of you have. But I promised someone who is new to the trade I’d post a video on it. Just so happens we were using that method today.

This is a helpful method when there is multiple turn points in a long run.
