The 2026 season comes to an end for the Sanger Indians, but what a run it was.

Pleasant Grove took Game 2 Friday night 11-0 to win the series, but this score does not define the heart, fight, and growth this team showed all season long. The Indians battled through adversity, played for each other, and gave Sanger fans a season to remember.

Reed Sebastian, Twister Wilson, and Luke Hendricks each collected hits for the Indians, while the defense continued to battle until the final out.

To the seniors — thank you for the memories, leadership, and pride you brought to Sanger Baseball. You helped lay the foundation for the future of this program.

And to the entire team and coaching staff — congratulations on an incredible season and an unforgettable playoff run. The future is bright for Sanger Baseball.

Tonight, the Lady Indians’ incredible journey came to an end in the 4A Region 2 Finals with a hard-fought 7-5 battle against Richland. This team never stopped fighting and showed the heart, toughness, and resilience that made all of Sanger proud.

⚔️ Lily Wilson launched a game-tying HR in the 4th
⚔️ Carley Kates led the offense with a 2-hit night
⚔️ Abby Chapmond battled through 103 pitches in the circle
⚔️ The Lady Indians rallied again in the 6th to tie the game before Richland answered late

Three straight trips to the Region Finals. Countless memories. A season this town will never forget.

To our seniors — thank you for your leadership, passion, and for leaving this program better than you found it. You represented Sanger with class every single time you stepped on the field.

And to the coaches, families, and fans who packed the stands all season long — thank you for believing in this team.
