Short band bio:

The Østensjø Organ Trio takes its name from Østensjøvannet, a lake in Norway’s capital city, Oslo, and consists of three slightly weathered gentlemen who have been playing jazz for many years. The band follows the classic organ trio format, featuring a well-maintained and portable Hammond B3 supplied by Keyboard Exchange International in Sanford, Florida.

The trio features Jørn Risvold-Normann on Hammond B3, Erik Bull-Valen on guitar, and Stein Kvaal Hageberg on drums.

The repertoire consists mainly of jazz standards, classic soul jazz, a touch of funky blues, and a number of original compositions.
