This is my second Wobba mountain banjo. My dad hijacked my first one. So I had to make another one to get my first one back. This one has standard features with upgraded Gotoh tuners. It has an 8 inch head with an 11 inch rim. This model has a wider neck and nut to give 5/16 inch string spacing. All the models that I build and finish are serial numbered. I will build yours to your specifications upon ordering. goldcreekbanjos.com

Gold Creek Banjos Mountain Banjo Mandolin (Bandolin) Update #2. After assembling and stringing the first neck I learned three things. I needed to make the neck wider at the heel, I had to redesign the tuner head and the fretboard inlay worked as planned Keep in mind I will be doing the final build with teak bodies a mahogany neck with a teak fretboard. It will have all black accessories and gold and brass hardware. With a black epoxy pour of my logo on the top ring body. I am doing the RND out of fur and pine with a maple body. The design work is about done and I can start cutting the good wood and I won't be using string for a retainer on the head. It will be brass. During the finishing stages I will be posting videos for my DIY banjo kit customers. Thanks for your interest. Daniel Kremer

Gold Creek Banjos Mandolin build #1. I have the initial mockup drawn for my next project. It is a Mountain Banjo Mandolin. I cut my parts on a CNC router. So it takes three programs to cut parts. This is a part of the first stage. The drawing. I will be cutting the prototype out of pine for the body and a fur neck to make sure it all fits. It will be made out of teak and mahogany. I have a few different builds in mind. I have all the hardware ordered. And the wood in stock. It will have a black drum head, tuning k***s and fret markers. With gold and brass hardware. More to come ...
