we keep saying, “she was 95!” which is kind of unfair because she was only a month away from 96 and she fought hard in many ways, probably every month, or week, or maybe day of her life but i know the last few months were probably the hardest so it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due
there has never been a time in my life that she wasn’t here, and honestly, i still don’t think there ever will be, because now she’s everywhere, so … watch out

oh, hey! remember me? … it’s been awhile. here are some of the floral highlights from the past year or so. i’m working on plans for the future at the moment, and looking for people to collaborate with… so many possibilities, but i can’t do it all by myself. stay tuned and whoever you are, whatever you do, let me know if you can relate. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i suspect i’m not the only one.

cosmos, zinnia, coneflower, yarrow, poke, black eyed susan,spirea, daisy, queen ann’s lace, snapdragon. picked, found, foraged, and grown. thanks to for the bulk of these flowers, obtained totally legitimately via CSA membership, and to several other establishments where a CSA program has not yet been established, including several of indeterminate function occupying a nearby industrial park and at least one bank (whose ATM fees are exorbitant even in light of the ability to ‘choose my own mix’ of denominations when withdrawing cash, which i very much enjoy and appreciate). stay tuned for information on attending a fun, hands-on workshop where we will acquire and arrange local flowers (and other landscape elements, both wild and cultivated) for very little money and at very low risk of being arrested for trespassing or assorted property crimes (shears and headlamps will be provided) (only half joking… but which half?)

We source responsibly and locally, and we offer the same or better quality as any local florist without the markup. Message me to get started ASAP! I want to make this as effortless as possible. If you’re unsure whether it’s a good fit for your customers, I’m happy to set up a trial run at no risk or cost to you. We deliver fresh flowers and pick up any unsold flowers as needed, all you have to do is give us a few feet of floor space and make sure there’s always water in the bucket. I’m curious to see if this works, but I don’t have a storefront so I need to borrow yours to find out…. it’ll be fun. It might be wildly successful! It might be a total failure. I’m good either way. But I can’t not try. And I can’t do it alone.
