Owning your own scuba gear is a right of passage. Divers have so much more enthusiasm to go diving, and get more out of it. We know not everyone can do it, especially all at once, but we hope you eventually can. This is also a reason we have “modular” gear like the Monterey regulator, that can grow with the diver. 🛥️🤿💦

In many cases, more damage can be done by doing this vs the few little drops that might be there, especially with salt water. While it may seem satisfying, and most people are doing what they saw another diver do, we’ve never seen any long-term benefit compared to regulators we did not do it with. Factoring the high pitch sounds some valves can make, and this just doesn’t hold up to the test. 😵‍💫🔧💦

The fine details in edge tooling and build quality are often overlooked when purchasing regulators. However, we had these regulators designed not only for recreational and technical diving, but commercial work as well. Sometimes, working upside down is how the job gets done. 🛥️🔧🤿

Nobody designs cars, homes, clothes, or even smartphones without color options. Not to worry, we definitely have traditional colors (check out our matte black coatings!). Diving is one of the most exciting activities in life… we think regulators should have color options, too 🤿✌️✨

Finally you have the OPTION of servicing your own gear, upgrading it down the road, or even swapping out part colors for the fun of it. We believe a diver who understands how their gear works, becomes a better diver. 🤿🔧💦

Keep your top-of-the-line regulator… top-of-the-line. 🔧💪 We love training aids (in the video) and we allow you to service your own regulator and order parts, if you wish. Yup, you can even change out parts just to have fun with colors.
