PooPatch Creations

PooPatch Creations Hi and welcome to PooPatchCreations. I personally sew quality swim diapers that are affordable, reusable, and help you save money. We recommend drying on low.

I also sew Tooth Fairy Pillows and Shoulder Bags. For prices, shipping and current availability, please visit PooPatchCreations on Etsy by clicking the "Shop Now" tab above. I have the link listed under "contact info"! I also make swim diapers and shoulder bags. My custom-made swim diapers, pocket diapers, and covers are completely washable and help save you money while helping the environment! Th

ey are cute, comfortable, and the snaps allow for adjustment in size. They have leg gussets to help prevent leaks, are edged with soft (FOE) fold-over elastic, and the pocket inside is made of soft athletic fabric to wick moisture away from baby's bottom. I purchase most of my PUL material from: Diaper Sewing Supplies. Eco-PUL™ is made in the USA. 73% polyester 27% polyurethane. 153 gsm. PUL fabric by Eco-PUL™ is food safe under the GRAS program and CPSIA compliant. Both the cover and pocket diaper use a "soaker". With the COVER, the soaker sits in the cover and is held in place by a front and back panel. If the baby pees, this soaker can be replaced without changing the entire cover out. If the baby poops, both the soaker and cover will need to be washed. With the POCKET DIAPER, the soaker is inserted into the "pocket". When the baby goes, either way, the entire diaper needs washing. Some people prefer one over the other, and some like to use both. The SWIM diaper is similar to the pocket diaper except there is NO pocket, and NO soaker is used. Many PUL colors and combinations are available and can be made in either the swim diaper, pocket diaper or the cover. I make these by myself so your order is pretty much custom. I try to make each one unique in some way. Custom requests are exciting to me!! My daughter spent 68 days in the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN. watching her boys get healthier, bigger and stronger, so I want to give back to the place that helped us so much. Price and size vary, so check out my Etsy shop for availability and prices. A % donation will be given to the Ronald McDonald House from each diaper I sell. Washing Instructions for PUL Fabric Care:

Machine wash warm or hot
Dry low
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
No bleach, vinegar, or oxy-type products
Bleach, vinegar, and Oxy-clean products are harsh and over time can damage your PUL. Please use regular or HE laundry detergent only. Eco-PUL™ can withstand plenty of use and the repeated hot washing necessary for cloth diapers and other reusable items. PUL should not be dried on HIGH heat in a dryer, very high air heat can cause PUL to wear prematurely, warp or melt.

I’m only making swim diapers upon request. Limited options of fabric too.
Have a great summer and be safe, especially around the water with little ones.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year 🎄🎁🎆🥂

For you Mamas out there.

𝗜 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗜 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗱.

My children were insistent they could walk, that they didn’t need the sled, however I pulled it anyway.

And initially, they had boundless energy.
They ran through the snow, laughed and chased each other and their laughter was musical.

And even though they didn’t seem to need it, I still pulled the sled.
It felt light and it wasn’t that hard to pull.

After we walked a bit longer, one of my girls tripped and fell. She didn’t hurt herself, but she was upset. She climbed in the sled for a minute and I kept pulling.

But she didn’t need it for long, and she hopped back out.

I was happy I’d brought the sled to help her when she needed a break.

By the later part of our walk, they grew tired. With the fatigue came the emotions and the meltdowns began.

Do you want to climb in the sled? I asked.
They both did.

And I pulled them.
And sometimes we went downhill and it felt easy.

And sometimes we went up hills and it was heavy and hard, and I was sweating and feeling tired.

And when I was sweating and feeling tired, almost resentful about the weight of them, I would stop, pause and breathe.

And sometimes they climbed out, feeling that they didn’t need the sled again, and would walk a little bit more, explore a bit further.

But they always returned to the sled.
And I always kept pulling it.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙨.
We keep pulling the sled of support.

Even when they don’t need it, we are there to help them keep going.
When they do need it, we pull them through.

There are some days it feels light and all downhill, and pulling them, supporting them feels easy.

There are days it is all uphill and pulling them is so hard, and so exhausting.
When we’re tired from their weight and from our own fatigue, we pull them.

So Mama, if your sled feels heavy today, pause and breathe.

You are working hard. This job isn’t easy.
There will be days when they won’t need you to pull them, and it will get easier.
