My class of wonderful teen and tween girls are exploring recycling using a kantha quilting technique.
This is an old quilting form from India where scraps from used fabrics are given a new life by making quilts , mats .

Yesterday I did a thing ! I walked across the stage at st Mary’s and received teaching credential. It was one of the hardest things I did ! But so happy that I did !

It’s that time of the year !! Summer camps for 10-14 year olds . I’ll be conducting summer camps through the city of San Ramon topics include Book binding , Printmaking , Tessellation, Mixed media , Ceramics hand building , Embroidery and Quilting .
