Words can’t express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to have our Sueño on the Paseo. There’s been so much fun, growth, support, love & struggles in the past two years that have shaped Cositas Contreras into what it is today.

I wouldn’t have been able to make it this far without the support of my business partners, the community who has supported us since day one, the 95+ vendors who I’ve had the privilege to work with & believed in me & this Sueño, my babies who have bee nothing but patient and understanding why mom is away, my honey who has showed up & helped me execute every random idea I have or anything I need done at the store.

Although it’s heartbreaking to close the doors on our first storefront, I’m so excited to share the news of a new second location for Cositas Contreras that’s been in the works 🥺

Thank you to EVERYONE who has made it possible for Cositas Contreras to have been successful this far & to continue to expand.💖

We are From Scratch, a small skincare and home products business based in Sutter, CA. After becoming mothers, we became more aware of the harmful ingredients found in many everyday store bought products, which led us to embrace a cleaner, more sustainable lifestyle. That journey inspired us to create our own skincare using natural and organic ingredients that are thoughtfully chosen and truly effective without harsh or hormone disrupting chemicals. Every product is handcrafted in small batches, with some gentle enough even for newborns. We hope to continue sharing products we feel confident using in our own home.

Before the month is over, January marks 5 years of having my third baby ♥️ this business was created to find ME & sparked something inside of me I didn’t even know I had. From learning a craft, doing weekend markets to make extra income to making it my full time job to opening my first store front. Cositas Contreras was created to find my creative outlet & became so much more. Sueños was created to provide a space for minority owned small businesses to showcase their handmade art & continue to fuel their creative spark.

These 5 years have been a rollercoaster but I wouldn’t change a thing throughout this journey.

Mil gracias to anyone who has been here at any point of this journey. Cositas Contreras & Sueños wouldn’t be here without your support 🫶🏽
