Passionate about fine bows, Pierre Guillaume today enjoys an highly regarded reputation as historical bow authentication expert and bow maker, which he owes to his conscientious and meticulous approuch to work. Introducing a Tête-Bêche pernambuco violin bow by Gilles Nehr made in 2025, with a new titanium head design, and newly designed titanium frog and bronze adjuster. This particular bow has diamond like carbon (DLC) lab coating, which makes the titanium parts look like a glossy darkvgun metal grey. This particular bow is made from the old pernambuco stock from the famous French bowmaking Bazin family with their history going back as far as 1840s until the 1980s.
