Aloha, Levi's®! Last week, we added our newest Levi’s® mainline store to the roster at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. To celebrate, the team worked with Hawaiian-born artist Aaron Kai, who created 25 custom pieces across pairs of Levi’s® 501® jeans and Trucker jackets to bring a locally driven activation to the grand opening. Last weekend, fifty employees in Germany biked 150 miles from the LS&Co. home office in Offenbach to Buttenheim, the birthplace of Levi Strauss, to celebrate 150 years of the 501® jean. Riders from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the UK were decked out in denim bags and race caps made from recycled 501® jeans to hand deliver an anniversary pair of Levi’s® 501® jeans to the Levi Strauss Museum. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 501® jean, our retail teams in the U.S. and Canada customized a pair to represent their district. We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new chapter of Rivet, LS&Co.’s employee resource group (ERG) for women, in Latin America (LATAM). This expansion reflects our commitment to sustaining a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.

"Latinas are strong — we are brave, fearless, passionate — and a little bit loud, too,” said Adriana Flores, LATAM Rivet executive sponsor. “It's amazing to have a voice, to be heard, to keep going in a society where women are more vulnerable due to the social and political environment. The new chapter of Rivet in LATAM aims to provide a safe space for women to speak up without judgment, collaborate, mentor one another and celebrate each other's victories, both professionally and personally.”

We are proud of our ERGs and the leaders who continue to raise the standard for our culture of belonging. With the addition of the LATAM Rivet chapter, our global ERG community has grown stronger, more diverse and more inclusive. LS&Co. is proud to continue its partnership with the San Francisco Giants to raise awareness for gun violence prevention. On select “Orange Fridays” throughout this season, the Giants will honor four Bay Area nonprofits focused on gun violence prevention: LIVE FREE, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Youth ALIVE and United Playaz. In conjunction, the Giants will air a PSA video and LS&Co. will donate $25,000 to each nonprofit. Learn more about our partnership and commitment to groups working on the frontlines to educate our community on gun violence prevention ⬇️
