New to our Noah Kahan table:
I could just say that these caramels are delicious and leave it at that, but there’s a story here and it needs to be shared.
Elaine McCabe, the owner of Red Kite Candy, spent over 30 years perfecting her candy-making craft before launching her business in 2009. The candy is made in Bradford, Vermont (a couple of towns over from where Noah Kahan grew up) and the retail shop is across the river in Hanover, New Hampshire, a couple of blocks away from where Noah went to school.
Elaine told me that she and all the locals are so proud of Noah and that his songs so perfectly express what it’s like living in the Upper Valley region of Vermont & New Hampshire.
When asked in an interview which candy he would give as a gift, he specifically mentioned these caramels, so of course I had to get them right away. Noah loves them, I love them and you will too!
