I built Jenny Lemons before I became a mom, but motherhood was always part of the dream.

I wanted to create a life where I could make art, support myself, and someday be there for my kids while they were growing up.

Now, 11 years later, this little business supports our family here in San Francisco. My kids get to watch their mom build something creative and meaningful from scratch, and that feels really special.

Plus, my daughter and her friends think Jenny Lemons is cool, which might be my greatest accomplishment yet.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms building businesses, families, art, or all three at once 💛

A while back, we did a customer survey and found out that 30% of Jenny Lemons customers are teachers and nurses.

That means so much to me!

You spend your days taking care of everyone else, and the fact that our silly little accessories get to be a tiny bright spot for you is something I never take for granted.

My favorite part of my job is helping facilitate such a difficult time in life for these kiddos and their families; making sure they’re getting what they need, advocating for the BEST care, and supporting them behind the scenes however I can. I also love getting to witness their resilience and gain perspective from these amazing kids every day. And of course, my coworkers! I’ve met the BEST people and many lifelong friends through this work.
