Some holiday recycling tips for SF. Bottom line is this.
-Separate your items. Remove bows from wrapping paper.
-Metallic paper can not be recycled (in SF you can put it in the bin and they will figure out what to do with it)
-Keep your recycling clean so paper does not get destroyed.
-Biodegradable is not compostable
-Use less plastic. It is harder than ever to recycle.

This is great news; a way to remove micro plastics from water. It may not be a solution yet but with more research we may have a way to remove some micro plastics from water....Of course we also need to quit adding them to the water, which you can do at home in your own laundry with micro waste wash bags like this one.
