This is one of my favorite events—there are live music, 🎸🥁🎤food trucks@offthegridsf and beautiful handmade things under the stars.🌟 🌉
I’ll be bringing some new pieces and Kawaidesigns favorites—cut, sewed and finished in my tiny Berkeley studio.

I arranged key covers and made a figure playfully.
During the last , these were so popular, and were sold out! Key cover chain uses premium Italian🇮🇹veg tanned leather.

作業で疲れたのでキーカバーでちょっと遊んでみた。😆
前回のクラフトフェアではソールドアウトしたアイテムです。ちっこいけどイタリアン🇮🇹の高品質ヌメ革だったりして実は実力派なんですよ。😉☁️

These are the works I made recently.
As I said before, I challenged myself to make zippered items, and after struggling for a while, I came up with my own design. By adding another piece of leather to the back of the zipper, it is not only reinforced but also gives a luxury look. I didn't like how the nylon zipper would be exposed as it is. As a result, it was a very satisfying finish!👍☁️

All available at 10/23 in Hayes Valley, San Francisco.We are looking forward to seeing you!

前も話しましたが、ジッパー(日本ではファスナー)に挑戦しまして、しばらく格闘の後、独自のデザインを編み出しました。ジッパーを開けた裏のところにもう一枚革をつけることで補強だけでなくさらにワンランク上の雰囲気が出ました。ジッパーのナイロンがそのまま出ていると心細いなと気になっていたのです。結果的に大満足の仕上がりとなりました！👍☁️

These are the works I made recently.
As I said before, I challenged myself to make zippered items, and after struggling for a while, I came up with my own design. I made a plump pouch in dark brown. I also put my favorite organic gum in the accessory case around my smartphone. It fits nicely.✨

This time, I used vegetable tanned leather called Minerva Box from Badalassi Carlo, a well-established Italian 🇮🇹company. It's light in spite of its nice hardness! As always, when I get my hands on such a wonderful material, I feel that I have to create something that makes the most of the goodness of leather.

ふっくらポーチを濃いめの茶色で作ってみました。スマホ周りの小物入れに◎、いつも愛用しているオーガニックガムも入れてもいい感じに収まってます。

今回は定評のあるイタリア製🇮🇹バダラッシカルロ社のミネルバボックスという植物タンニン鞣しの革を使用してみました。いい感じに硬さがあるのに軽い！いつもですが、このような素晴らしい素材を手にすると革の良さを生かしたものづくりをしないといかん、と身が引き締まる思いがします。
