After driving for almost 30 hours from California to Iowa, and seeing some breath taking views, I find it is my duty to announce: nothing compares to California. True, we don’t get a proper autumn sweater weather, if anything we get chilly mornings and unbearably bright and hot afternoons. Yet, the extension of summer into dang near October feels right to me. “California Summer” - inspired by golden hills, golden afternoons, and sun tanned skin well into Halloween.
