What an amazing event celebrating Chef new cookbook . It was standing room only, and .buatique and I met fellow Lao entrepreneurs, and made new friends around the Bay Area.

We enjoyed hearing about how this cookbook and recipes came to life, along with touching anecdotes about the core memories, family stories, and cultural significance Chef Saeng and many Lao Americans have growing up eating Lao food. You did a great job hosting and

Grateful to have the love of my kids, extended family, friends, and a thoughtful spouse who is a true partner. It’s nice to be celebrated today, but I hope many of us can enjoy brunch you didn’t have to make, meals your partner helps cook, children who call and tell you that you’re appreciated all year. Motherhood is not just one day, I wish every mom and caretaker the gratitude you all deserve!

We went to brunch at the beautiful restaurant sitting under olive trees, then a hike along Lake Hennessey and Valentine Vista Trail to check out wildflowers. It was a perfectly relaxing weekend with lots of gardening too.

A little bouquet from my garden for teacher appreciation week. I think everyone remembers who gives them flowers, but they never forget the ones who don’t. These are made of hydrangeas, snapdragons, roses, rice flowers, and verbena. Hope my daughter’s teacher loves it!

Cafe hopping is such a fun hobby, especially one as beautiful as the in Bangkok. The Dior Cafe by chef is so elegant, filled with 3D Thai bamboo art depicting nature, birds, flowers, etc. It’s one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve ever seen! Have you been here?
